This is one of the tasks for writing I did this week.
Team Fortress 2 is a first person shooter game, where there are game modes with different objectives. One of the gamemodes is to capture all the control points so yeah that’s something.
Offense Classes: Captures control points.
Scout: Scout carries a Scattergun, (shotgun) pistol and a bat. He is very fast and can capture control points very quickly. He is perfect for hit and run tactics. Also he is ideal for aggressive fighting and flanking people.
Soldier: Soldier carries a rocket launcher, shotgun and a shovel. He can capture control points quickly with rocket jumping. He also is capable of both defense and offense. Great class to get familiar with the game.
Pyro: Pyro is a pyromaniac who carries a flamethrower, shotgun and a fire axe. He specializes in close quarters and if an enemy gets damaged by a pyro and kills him, the enemy will still take damage from
afterburn.
Defense Classes: Defends control points.
Engineer: Engineer carries a shotgun, pistol and a wrench but he doesn’t rely on his guns, he relies on his gadgets. He has a device where he can build teleporters, sentry guns, and dispensers. Sentry guns can defend control points by killing enemies. Teleporters can teleport other classes to action straight away. Dispensers can heal other classes and give them ammo.
Demoman: Demoman carries a grenade launcher, stickybomb launcher and a bottle. He can shoot grenade launchers at people and kill people from a distance. He can put his stickybombs on the control point and detonate them when an enemy walks by.
Heavy: Heavy carries a minigun, shotgun and uses his fists as a melee weapon. He has lots of health so he absorbs big amounts of damage. He can gun down enemies while absorbing lots of damage. Very powerful class.
Support Classes: Supports the team.
Medic: Medic carries a syringe gun, medigun and a bonesaw. He uses his medigun to heal his teammates and has a special ability called Ubercharge but can only use it when charged up. If the medic uses ubercharge the medic and the player that has ubercharge will be invincible. The Medic and Heavy are great pairs.
Spy: Spy carries a revolver, butterfly knife, invisibility watch, disguise kit, and electro sapper. Spy can kill deadly enemies with a quick stab to the back (backstab) and gun down enemies with a revolver. He can make his escape with his invisibility watch. He can use his disguise kit to disguise as the enemy team and use his electro sapper to make teleporters, sentries and dispensers out of commission.
Sniper: Sniper carries a sniper rifle, submachine gun and a kukri. With his sniper rifle he can shoot enemies from a long distance. His sniper rifle can charge up and if his rifle is charged up he can kill his enemy with one shot. His sniper rifle damage can have more effect if aimed at the head. He is very strong at long range but at short range he is forced to use his submachine gun.
