For the summer learning journey we had to a travel poster for a country and we also had to come up with great tips about what to see and do in the country.
I liked this activity because I like geography.
I am a Year 5 student at PCS School in Auckland, NZ. I am in KHH and my teachers are Whaea Tamzin and Whaea Sharlee . This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Hey Nicholas,
ReplyDeleteYou're poster has lots of interesting and useful information on it. And it's really cool to see that you went to the effort to make a map yourself. I like geography too and maps. Most of the geography I know is from looking at world maps in medieval strategy games and this really cool YouTube channel called Geography Now, you should ask your parents if you can check it out if you're interested.
I tried to Google why 'K' is the atomic symbol for Potassium, I found out that most of the time an atomic symbol might be named after the initial of the first or last name of the person who discovered it but I think Potassium is named after something Latin. Worth further research.
Great posts as usual Nicholas. Keep it up, you're really close to the end now and super early too.
Daniel :)
