For the summer learning journey we have to tell them Which activity you enjoyed the most
Which activity you enjoyed the least
Three things that you learned while completing the programme
What changes/improvements you would make to the programme for next year
So the activity I enjoyed the most was The Right to an Education
The activity I enjoyed the least was “I Have a Dream”
I learnt that you can use a website to translate English to Shakespearean
You can improve work on the activities because some of them were boring.
Thank you for making my summer funner!
I am a Year 5 student at PCS School in Auckland, NZ. I am in KHH and my teachers are Whaea Tamzin and Whaea Sharlee . This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Hey Nicholas,
ReplyDeleteHuge-awesome-mega-superduper-amazing congratulations on finishing all of the SLJ tasks!
I'm glad it added heaps of fun to your summer and I proud that you stuck with it even if you found some of the task boring. I'd love to hear more from you about why the 'Right to an Education' activity was your favourite and what about the 'I have a Dream' post made it your least favourite. I'm sure the SLJ organisers are very interested so they can make the tasks more interesting and less boring for next time.
Great job Nicholas! You are the 3rd person in all of the Papakura schools to finish so far. If you want, you can start leaving thoughtful comments on other bloggers posts for extra points.
Daniel :) :)
Hey Nicholas,
ReplyDeleteOh No, I think you may not be finished yet and there's one more post you've missed. Have you don the 'Overcoming challenges" task for week 3. I've looked for it and can't seem to find it.
Have a look for it on the site:
https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities/2019-week-3-y3-5
You've still got plenty of time to get it done. (A whole week in fact) but if you want to maintain your 3rd person finished in all the papakura schools you might have to get it done fast.
See you in the comments.
Daniel :)
I have checked the activities for week 3 and I havent saw the overcoming challenges. I think you mean overcoming adversities. But I havent done that so thank you for reminding me!
DeleteHave a nice day!
Nicholas :]
