For the summer learning journey we had to if I would participate in the 20 or 40 hour famine to raise money for charity.
I would because I'm a kind person but 20 or 40 hours is not my fancy. I would but I wouldnt spend most of my day raising money.

I'm glad to hear you're a kind person and a kind person is the kind of person that'd be perfect for it. :) So when you do the 40hr or 20hr famine you get people to sponsor you by giving you money to donate because your going to take part in the famine.
Then for 20 or 40 hours you don't eat anything or sometimes you give up something else really important to you (like using electricity or being indoor). So you get a small idea of what some people you've raised money for have to go through every day. I've never done it before but I've helped out at events and sponsored people. Maybe we'll both give it a go next time it rolls round.
