The day the light was gone for 3 hours.

For online learning we had to make a narrative about light.

I woke up to a dark sight. So I looked at the time and it was 9am. My mind didn’t work very well so I didn’t think much of it. A little while later, I heard my mum shouting “COME OUTSIDE QUICK.” I rushed outside to see a solar eclipse. “Amazing.” I said, amazed. “Get the camera!” shouted my brother. When we got the camera, we took hundreds of photos of the eclipse. After a few minutes, the diamond ring effect happened. Everyone started taking more pictures. They took pictures of every effect that happened until the sun came back out. Everyone sighed and went back inside disappointed. Especially me. I went back to bed exhausted from keeping up with everyone's energy. I thought to myself “What a waste of 3 hours of my life.”

I liked this activity because I think solar eclipses are fascinating.
