Letter to Britain.

For topic we were learning about James Cook. One of the activities we had to was we had to imagine we were James Cook and we discovered Australia. We had to write a letter to Britain convincing that we can go there. We did this activity with a buddy and my buddy was Nitya.

   

Dear Britain,

We discovered new land, and we shall call it Terra Nullius. Me and my mates walked over the land, and saw fluffy, grey creatures. They have a black nose, and they have big ears. Maybe they can be a meat source for us! Also we found this creature that bounces alot, it looks pretty big. It has a pouch in its tummy so that it’s youngling can stay in there. That creature also could be a valuable meat source. We shall call it a Kangaroo. There also seems to be no people living there, so perhaps we could travel there.I and my crew have been planning to make a new civilization there, perhaps,it could be a new island of Britain. Anyways I hope this convinces you enough to come to the land we call “Australia. ”

   

 I enjoyed this activity because we got to do it with a friend.
